Web JCLI - Web Journal of Current Legal Issues (UK)


A cutting-edge, medico-legal journal published at Newcastle University, on the Internet, housed at webjcli.ncl.ac.uk, on University of Newcastle upon Tyne's servers.

The Web JCLI has been published since March of 1995. It promotes itself as the first online open access academic law journal in the United Kingdom.

The official statement of scope is, as of June 1, 2011:

"The Web Journal of Current Legal Issues is published bi-monthly on the WorldWide Web. The focus of the Journal is on current legal issues in judicial decisions, law reform, legislation, legal research, policy related socio-legal research, legal information, information technology and practice. Contributions to the Articles, Comments, Case Notes, Legal Education and Information Technology sections are refereed. The Journal was associated with Blackstone Press Ltd from its inception in 1995 until 2001."
