"Drafted by the NCCUSL and by it Approved and Recommended For Enactment
in all the States."
The first version of the Uniform Probate Code was published in 1969 but adopted by only 16 states (Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Utah).
Revisions continue unabated with the most recent official version published in 2006.
