S.C.L.R. - Supreme Court Law Review (Canada)
Started pubication in 1980 (Butterworths, Toronto).
Ended the first series in 1989 with Volume 11 and started a Second Series in 1990.
Official statement of scope:
"... an annual, comprehensive overview of the Supreme Court of Canada's most recent year's decisions...
"The Review includes essays offering more broadly-based insight into the law, the judiciary, and the judicial decision-making process, as well as case comments...."
Initially, the publisher requested that the legal citation be Supreme Court L.R. But this was not what the academic legal citators chose, opting, instead, for Sup. Ct. L. Rev.
Still, circa 2001, the Supreme Court Law Review editors muddied the waters by suggesting yet another citation for the annual Supreme Court Law Review: S.C.L.R.
