In 1968, N.B.R. was returned to publication, with the new series called "Second Series" and appropriately cited as:
As New Brunswick is a bilingual jurisdiction (English and French), the law report also has an equally authoritative French name: either of Recueil du Nouveau-Brunswick or Recueil des Arrets du Nouveau-Brunswick.
According to the publisher, Maritime Law Books (as of 2010), the statement of scope of NBR 2d is:
"The New Brunswick Reports (2d) commenced publication in 1968 - bilingual since 1982. The series includes all of the decisions of the New Brunswick Court of Appeal, plus selected trial court decisions, plus Supreme Court of Canada decisions originating in New Brunswick. The approximate number of printed volumes per year is 10."
