Duhaime's Legal Citations

Mich. J. Race & L. - Michigan Journal of Race & Law

Related Citation: MJRL, Mich., Mich. B. J., Mich. L. Rev., MJIL

The former legal citation of the Michigan Journal of Race & Law, which has now moved on to the public domain citation of MJRL or, somewhat confusingly, MJR&L.

To wit the URL of the Journal:

The statement of scope from the publisher University of Michigan Law School, circa Nov. 2012, recalls that the Journal started from a reading group of law students:

"... to explore issues of racial inequality, issues that were pervasive in the minds and lives of the students, but strangely absent in the traditional law school environment (and, eventually) to form a new journal that adequately recognized the voices of people of color and that was dedicated unequivocally to discussing issues of racial inequality in the law".
