The first series, M.P.L.R., was published from 1976 to 1990.
The second series - M.P.L.R. (2d) - ran from 1991 to 1999.
The third series - M.P.L.R. (3d) - since 1999 (as of October 2010).
Published by Carswell-Canada. Publisher's statement of scope circa 2010:
"Features ... important municipal law decisions from the courts and planning tribunals of all Canadian jurisdictions selected by experts in the field. Includes cases on municipal corporations and their powers, municipal wrongs, subdivision and development control and zoning by-laws, municipal and school taxes and assessment, trade regulation, and public authorities and public officers."
