Ld. Raym. - Lord Raymond's King's Bench and Common Pleas Reports

Sometimes also referred to by the legal citations of:

The three volume set called Reports of Lord Robert Raymond are formally described as follows:

"Reports of cases argued and adjudged in the courts of King's Bench and Common Pleas, in the reigns of the late King William, Queen Anne, King George the First, and King George the Second.

"Taken and collected by the Right Honourable Robert, Lord Raymond, late Lord Chief Justice of the Court of King's Bench."

Like many contemporary law reports of Raymond's time (he lived from 1673 to 1733), his reports cover cases from 1694 to 1732, roughly overlapping his tenure as attorney and judge (1697-1733), but published in updated editions posthumously. For example, the most recent set of Ld. Raym. was published as a 4th edition in 1792.

The Reports of Lord Robert Raymond (Ld. Raym.), are also part of the English Reports (E.R.), Volumes 91 and 92.
