Jurisprudence Express (Quebec, 1978-)
The Quebec government's law report publisher's primary electronic law report available exclusively through a non-profit corporation set up by Justice Quebec, SOQUIJ.
The original statement of scope (1980, translated):
"... reporting on all cases of the Supreme Court of Canada, and select judgments of the Quebec Court of Appeal, the Quebec Superior Court, the Provincial Court ... and Youth Court."
Each calendar year, selected cases are assigned unique J.-E. numbers from January 1 to December 31st. In 1980, for example, J.E. cases ran from 81-1 to 81-1073.
J.-E. differs substantially from traditional law reports as the printed law reports contains only the summary of the judgments. To obtain the full copy (number of pages is indicated), you have to purchase same from SOQUIJ, initially by fax but now through their Internet database.
Nine times a year, select cases from JE are published in full text in R.J.Q. (Recueil de jurisprudence du Québec).
