Indian J. L. & Tech. - Indian Journal of Law and Technology
The contemporary public domain citation of the Indian Journal of Law and Technology, and that preferred and used by the publisher, is IJLT. But as with many legal citations, an older legal citation in the American commercial law publisher style exists and is often still, regrettably, in use; that being Indian J. L. & Tech.
Commenced publication in 2005.
According to the publisher of this law journal, circa 2011:
"The Indian Journal of Law and Technology (IJLT) is managed and published by the Law and Technology Committee of the Student Bar Association, at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, India. The Journal is edited by an Editorial Board consisting of students from the National Law School and an independent Article Review Board comprised of academicians and experts in the field of technology law. The Journal was founded in August 2004 in order to furnish a platform in India for the discussion of domestic and international issues pertaining to the growing interface between law and technology.
"A deep understanding of these issues is crucial to the development of India's technology economy, both from the point of view of business and from a public policy perspective. The Journal publishes articles by individuals from the academia, the legal profession, the business world, and governments and think tanks. The Journal also considers submissions from law students. The National Law School's leadership in legal education and scholarship in India, along with its location in Bangalore, India's top technology destination, presents the Journal with the ideal atmosphere to achieve its objectives."
