Head - Head (United States)

The law report Head (Head's Tennessee Reports) covered cases from 1858 to 1860.

It was the eleventh precursor to what became the Tennessee Reports (Tenn.).

Head has been repackaged as distinct volume numbers within the Tenn. series corresponding to the years of publication.

Head's reports continued from Sneed's Tennessee Reports - Sneed - and was itself, continued by Coldwell's Tennessee Reports - Cold.

One noteworthy case, cited in W. D. Lewis' 1898 American edition of William Blackstone's Commentaries, at page 168 of Volume 4 is a case on the now obsolete offence of eavesdropping:

State v Pennington, 3 Head 299 (1859)
