  • Durn. & E.

Published in eight volumes covering the period from 1785 to 1800.

Chronologically, the D. &. E. law reports, as regards the Court of King's Bench, followed the Douglas' King's Bench Reports and was itself followed by East's Term Reports, King's Bench.

Republished within volumes 99-101 of the English Reports law report series.

One of the editions of D. &. E., carried this modest preface:

"In a work of this kind all that can be expected is accuracy; to polish and digest properly requires long time and much labour."

In Curiosities of the Law Reporters, the author writes of Durnford & East's Term Reports, King's Bench:

"For care and accuracy of finish, and a matchless propriety of style, which they everywhere maintain, these reporters have never been surpassed."
