Bus. Law. - Business Lawyer (USA)


Started in July of 1946 (Volume 1) by the Corporations, Banking and Business Law section of the American Bar Association.

The August 2010 edition was the 4th issue of 2010, and volume 65 overall.

Present day statement of scope (from the ABA website):

Published quarterly, The Business Lawyer is the premier business law journal in the country, circulating to approximately 60,000 readers. It contains articles of significant interest to the business lawyer, including case law analysis, and developing trends.

It is still published by the American Bar Association though the supervisory section is known, simply, the Section of Business Law".

The first volume included several preamble pages regarding ABA meeting and even a "dinner dance" at the Ritz Carlton!
