Beav. - Beavan's Reports (England)

Originally published by Charles Beavan (1805-1884) through London publisher Saunders and Benning.

Now more readily available as forming part of the English Reports, Volumes 48 to 55 (1838-1866).

Barrister as of 1830, Charles Beavan limited his practice to the Chancery courts and was appointed official examiner to the court, an office he held from June 1866 to January 1884.

His original law reports were called Reports of cases in Chancery argued and determined in the Rolls Court and issued in 36 volumes, the longest series of law reports to that date, volume 36 being an index.
