Forming part of the Law Reports (L.R.).
Volume I was published in 1876 and the series ran well into the 1990s. Usually, there is one volume per year but not always.
For example, in 1992, there were two volumes: [1992] 1 A.C. and [1992] 2 A.C.
Original statement of scope (1876):
"Appeal cases before the House of Lords (English - Irish - Scotland) and the Judicial Committee of Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council."
